Spring Steam Gala- Weekend Tickets
Saturday
Join us for an exciting day featuring five steam locomotives: 7714, 1450, 5552, 5553, and Judy. Experience the charm of the Great Western Railway with our classic chocolate and cream set, pairing the auto coach and Victorian salon. This setup replicates the historic two-coach sets that once operated between Bodmin Parkway and Bodmin General, often hauled by 5553. Both coaches offer fantastic views of the line, and the auto coach will showcase goods being loaded and unloaded throughout the day.
Judy will provide short rides within the station on our goods train when not running down the line. From 13:45 to 14:45, enjoy a demonstration shunt to reorder the train, with control handed over to the public from the viewing area beside the workshop. Full details of this interactive experience will be confirmed soon.
Our main set will consist of four coaches, pulled by a variety of locomotives, often with multiple engines working together.

Celebrate the final day of our gala with four steam locomotives in action: 7714, 1450, 5552, and Judy. The main train will feature our regular four coaches, with the Victorian salon at the General end, ensuring no fewer than two locomotives on the train, working hard to provide a memorable experience. The goods train will again offer short rides within the station.
In the early part of the day, the auto coach will be paired with 1450, moving freight loads on and off the train. Later, Judy will take the auto coach down the line for a special solo trip.
