08 Clay Driver Experience
A very unique opportunity to recreate the typical 1970's clay scene on an old clay line, here at Bodmin Railway. Experience the life of a driver with the Class 08 0-6-0 No. 08359, as you travel up and down both branch lines. Enjoy a half day experience with two hours of driving and a Cornish pasty.
Please note:
Participants must be at least 18 years of age, be reasonably fit and capable of moderate exertion and be able to climb a 6ft vertical ladder.
This activity may not be suitable for those with some disabilities, particularly where these affect mobility, concentration, dexterity and co-ordination. If you believe this may be a factor for the participant, please contact us in advance to ensure the activity is suitable.
